What we learned from our visit at the Louvre

The stereotypes are true?

1. The Louvre doesn’t have any art by an American or any art representing anything American.  Not even Native American!

2. The artists make it very obvious to show that their subjects are women – there’s at least one exposed boob or a prop baby in almost every painting.

    The Largest Indigenous Art Museum is actually in Paris. It is called Musée du quai Branly. It is the only showcase of indigenous art that has been designed respectfully from scratch with input and participation of all relevant indigenous artists from around the world, although not withstanding current controversies in this arena…
