Being on the same wavelength

From the beginning, jigg have told me that if I have anything to say, I should just say it instead of keeping it to myself.  If I don’t, I cannot get mad at him for it because he “cannot read minds.”  For example, if I wanted to do X and we end up doing Y, I cannot get mad at him if never told him that I wanted to do X.  I cannot assume that he “should have known.”

That’s fair enough (and a clever way of covering his ass) right? No mind games and no miscommunication.

But at other times, I hope some things don’t always need to be said to be understood because we know each other well enough to anticipate the other person’s needs. Wants are sometimes left better off unsaid because once spoken, they sound more like demands.
